I had the pleasure of walking behind Ruby Begonia as she was on her way to finishing her permanent championship in 2023. I couldn’t help but think “I’d take a barn full of Ruby Begonias!” Shortly thereafter I realized she had a buckling available whose sire, Oak Apple Idomeneo, is closely related to many members of our herd, so it was a no brainer to add little Sitka to our breeding plans. He is a striking young fella and we look forward to putting him in rotation for 2024 kids!
